IT Director

My client is seeking an IT Director to manage, develop, and execute their Systems Infrastructure and eCommerce platform infrastructure roadmap.

This retailer puts a major emphasis on being the trusted source for premium and natural products that'll keep their consumers (furry companions) happy and healthy!


Technology Strategy, Planning, and Implementation:

  • Collaborate with management and vendors to create and execute the company's technology strategy, aligning it with Marketing, Operations, and overall company objectives.

  • Regularly assess technology and suggest infrastructure upgrades.

  • Lead the smooth integration of new software, hardware, and systems.

Infrastructure Management:

  • Supervise the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of their IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, and software systems.

  • Implement best practices for infrastructure design, security, and performance.

  • Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of IT systems, applications, and data.

Network and Security

  • Monitor the network infrastructure vendor's performance to ensure stability.

  • Stay updated on security threats and industry best practices, implementing necessary measures to protect company data.

User Support and Training:

  • Ensure regular technology training sessions and up-to-date user documentation.

  • Verify user accounts and access rights across systems.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage vendor relationships, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with agreements.

  • Evaluate & select external vendors.


  • An extensive understanding of Salesforce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and the Core Platform)=~5 years

  • Microsoft 365 a MUST

  • Thorough understanding of ERP processes (Experience with SYSPRO ERP is a plus!)

  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.

  • Strong work ethic, both independently and within a team.
