Job description

We are searching for a Product Innovation Officer to join our client's Governance and Experience team. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and trustworthy marketplace for users, sellers, and creators. They are currently seeking an experienced professional to join their Intellectual Property Rights protection function, which ensures the protection of intellectual property rights on their e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of customers and partners to define the evolving product and business strategy.
  • Act as an expert in intellectual property and anti-counterfeit risk, with a focus on IPR infringement in the US.
  • Lead teams in managing brand-related incidents concerning product authenticity.
  • Understand IPR risk governance trends in the platform's operating countries.
  • Drive innovation in product features, usability, and performance.
  • Create comprehensive product plans, ensuring product launches are timely and on budget.
  • Enhance proactive monitoring programs to minimize counterfeit risks.
  • Educate stakeholders on IPR protection and conduct trainings for rights owners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IPR-related challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.
  • 7+ years in technology product management.
  • 3-4 years experience in areas like Intellectual Property Operations, Risk Management, Trust and Safety, or Policy Development.
  • Critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong project and program management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Experience in global companies and understanding of multi-cultural environments.

  • Annual base salary range: $139650 - $256500 (may vary based on qualifications and location).
