Job description
We are hiring an Informatica ETL developer for a remote contract with one of our clients – a large insurance provider. This contract starts ASAP for a minimum of 1 year.
Candidates should be based and eligible to work in LATAM (preferably Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, or Colombia, though we could consider other LATAM countries; Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay)
The role will be paid at an hourly rate in USD within a range of $20-45/h, depending on experience level and location.
Candidates MUST be able to start ASAP and should be fluent in English (professional proficiency)
Experience required:
• 3+ years’ experience in building and maintaining ETLs built on Informatica Cloud (they do not use Power Center)
• Experience working with business owners to gather requirements and build data mapping
• Experience creating documentation for processes and handling KT sessions to support with transition to long-term business-as-usual support
• Experience with SQL Server DBs (AS/400 / DB2 a plus)
• Ability to speak English (mandatory)
• Ability to speak Spanish (plus)

- Working knowledge of Informatica Data Transformation and Data Transformation studio
- Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts
- Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in Informatica Projects
- 3+ years of experience in Project lifecycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, implement and maintain client’s ETL programs
- Work with the ETL team in development and deployment of ETL, EDI and proprietary interfaces
- Working closely with developers, data architects, analysts and business users
- Implementing robust, reusable development for SSIS and ETL packages
- Analyze, design, implement and maintain ETL programs
- Create and manage SSIS packages, ETL packages, triggers, stored procedures, views, SQL transactions.
- Develop new secure data feeds with external parties as well as internal applications including the data warehouse and business intelligence applications.
- SQL and SSIS programming initiatives.
- Work with a project team to support the design, development, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of new ETL programs.
