Job description

Our client, a leader in social media and are looking for a Head of Fraud and loss for their U.S. Data Security (USDS) team. 

USDS is a standalone division focusing on data protection policies and content assurance to ensure user safety in the U.S. The USDS teams span various sectors including Trust & Safety, Security & Privacy, Engineering, User & Product Ops, Corporate Functions, and more.

About the Team: The Ecommerce's Governance and Experience team globally ensures a safe and trustworthy marketplace for users, sellers, and creators. As the Anti-fraud product manager, responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Fraud & Loss operations team strategy and OKR;
  • Building and retaining a team of specialists;
  • Directing fraud detection and mitigation operations;
  • Identifying system vulnerabilities and mitigating emerging frauds;
  • Enhancing antifraud processes for efficiency and early fraud detection;
  • Ensuring team expertise in fraud detection and prevention;
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to address risk problems at scale;
  • Producing comprehensive fraud reports for senior management.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in a people management role;
  • 5+ years of experience in areas like Antifraud, Risk Management, Trust & Safety, or the tech industry. Ecommerce experience is beneficial;
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and project management skills;
  • Ability to source information from online platforms and groups;
  • Capability to derive insights from datasets; knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar is a plus;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Previous law enforcement or prosecution experience is advantageous.

Job Information Compensation Description (annually): The base salary range for this role in the selected city is $139650 - $256500. Compensation may differ based on factors like qualifications, skills, experience, and location. The total package includes base pay, potential bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
