Stott and May are working with a leading retail client, to help source a senior Full Stack Engineer. You'll be joining a well-loved historic brand, working on solutions that serves millions of loyal customers and thousands of colleagues. You'll be working in a DevOps environment with "you build it - you own it".
Title: Full Stack Engineer
CONTRACT
INSIDE IR35
Hybrid (1-2 days per week in Paddington)
6 months (with extensions likely)
Responsibilities:
- Drive DevOps practices to automate the Product development life cycle
- Contribute and create Product Group OKRs and demonstrate responsibility for the entire team’s teams' objectives
- Promote technology, innovation, values, and ways of working within the team and wider community
- Help lead continuous learning and improvement for the Products and Product health related to quality and stability
Requirements:
- Full Stack (50/50 split front and back end)
- Frontend: React, Next.JS, TypeScript, SCSS
- Backend: Java (spring boot), Kotlin
- Experience of web applications (including cross browser for older devices)
- TDD / BDD / Performance testing (Cypress and Playwright)
- Experience managing and building Azure resources
- Agile DevOps environment (scrum or kanban)
