Role: Director of Strategy
Location: Manchester (Hybrid, 2 days a week in office)
Our client is a hyper growth E-commerce retailer brand. They have been going for 15+ years, has a growing customer base (we're talking millions of followers on social media) and has just been recently backed by a global VC firm.
They truly hold the monopoly in their respective domain are looking to grow significantly to become a global brand. For this they have planned significant hires across the next year... The business has a clear two year hiring strategy in place and this role is reporting directly to the two founders.
They are hiring 6 senior hires across IT, people, Ops with this role being the most senior / imperative to their growth trajectory. They are looking for a Strategy Director to spearhead growth from the HQ in Manchester.
They have had some high profile sponsors / and recently interviewed David Beckham.
The role:
Strategy Director – reporting directly to the founders
Set initiatives execution and process management
Huge opportunity to spearhead growth and scale the
Oversee all new projects / focal point to facilitate growth
Requirements:
10+ years’ minimum experience in Retail / Ecommerce
Experience working as a Strategy Director
MBA / equivalent
Proven experience in management/building teams
Commercial / Customer centric background
