Overview:

My client is a Global leader within the consumer goods industry and at the moment they are looking to add a Director of eCommerce to drive innovation for two of their premier brands. This role will give you the unique opportunity to take the lead in shaping the online presence of these brands, while also contributing to the expansion of their digital footprint.

 

As the Director, Ecommerce you will take on a pivotal role in shaping the growth trajectory of two brands through eCommerce channels. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Overseeing all aspects of Ecommerce operations that contribute to Global Ecommerce growth and other strategic brand extensions.
  • Taking ownership of Ecommerce P&L accountability, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborating closely with the Brand and Integrated Marketing teams to develop and optimize online go-to-market strategies that resonate with our target audience.
  • Implementing data-driven strategies for merchandising, content optimization, and promotions to enhance user experiences and drive conversions.
  • Leading efforts to develop and execute lower funnel marketing tactics, maximizing customer acquisition and retention.
  • Spearheading initiatives to drive digital revenue across Global D2C platforms, consistently analyzing and improving performance metrics.

 

Qualifications:

  • Over 8 years of relevant professional experience in the beauty or fashion industry (plus), demonstrating a proven track record of achieving triple-digit growth rates for emerging online ventures.
  • Comprehensive grasp of digital platforms and tools, including SFCC, SFMC, GA4, Contentsquare, Yotpo, among others.
  • Previous experience in P&L management and ownership of forecasting is essential.
  • Exceptional collaborator and resolute decision-maker.
  • Proficient in effectively collaborating with diverse business functions and adept at influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Remarkable organizational aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and adeptness in multitasking and meeting deadlines.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment characterized by shifting priorities.
  • Self-initiator capable of taking the lead and maintaining a positive demeanor.
