Devops Lead and Coach

My client seeks a dynamic, energetic Devops Team Coach passionate about developing a software platform for Industry 4.0. The ideal candidate thrives on problem-solving and is motivated by the challenge of scaling a team. As the software development lead for the AI solution, platform security, and DevOps operations, this role is pivotal in our growing international B2B SaaS company, which prides itself on a customer-centric strategy and culture.

Responsibilities

- Coach, develop, and manage a small DevOps team, mentor the software testing team manager, and monitor project progress for developers and integration engineers.
- Act as the senior/expert developer and coach for core development activities.
- Mentor senior technical team members, including leads in mobile (Flutter), front-end (React), and backend (.NET) development.
- Partner with stakeholders in Product Management and Customer Success, and liaise with the Ghent Site Manager.
- Own the Connected Worker development roadmap and execute release plans.
- Establish operations, structure, and (SOC2) processes to support daily development and testing activities.
- Coordinate the development roadmap and release planning in close collaboration with the product management team.
- Organize daily status meetings, coordinate development and testing activities, and keep all stakeholders informed.
- Implement formal processes to support development and oversee IT administration in line with SOC2 Type 2 certification and culture.
- Provide guidance on technology and architectural design choices.
- Review technical specifications and perform code reviews.
- Ensure CISO compliance.

Experience
- Proven experience as a software development project leader in professional software solutions.
- Familiarity with the .NET ecosystem, React, and Azure.
- Experience in mobile development is a plus.
- Knowledge of IT project management methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high-performing software organisation.
- Self-motivation with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and scaling B2B/Enterprise software in an international context is advantageous but not essential.
