Job Title: Desktop Analyst
Location: Central London
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 9:00AM – 5:30PM
Salary: up to £36K basic per annum

Stott and May are working with a dynamic client who are looking for a skilled Desktop Analyst to join their team.

Job Description:
As a Desktop Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support to employees/clients, resolving desktop-related issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of their computer systems. You will also be involved in desktop deployments, software installations, and system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktop and laptop computers.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and software applications.
  • Assist with desktop hardware and software upgrades.
  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of desktop systems with other IT infrastructure components.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of all desktop-related activities.


Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Desktop Analyst or similar role.
  • Knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, VBA and Intune MDM
  • Experience of providing desktop support for MS Office 365, Anti-Virus, Mimecast and Adobe Suite
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
