Data Modeler / Architect (MDM)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6-12 months
Pay: up to £525 per day (inside IR35)
Location: 100% office based, Stratford / London
We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller to support a major enterprise-scale programme. This contract role requires deep expertise in building application data models across Finance, CRM, and Master Data Management (MDM) domains. You’ll work closely with data architects, analysts, and engineers to deliver scalable and compliant data solutions in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for MDM and enterprise systems
- Map end-to-end data lifecycle events across systems and models
- Document metadata, data dictionaries, and entity relationships
- Translate business requirements into optimal data structures
- Define and uphold data governance and modelling standards
- Model data across relational and NoSQL platforms
- Ensure data compliance, security, and integrity
- Support cloud-based implementation (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, etc.)
- Contribute to integration, migration, and reconciliation efforts
Your Profile – Essential:
- 7+ years’ experience in data modelling and MDM
- Proficient in Erwin, Power Designer, or ER/Studio
- Strong SQL and NoSQL skills; experienced with cloud databases (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Background in financial services, capital markets, or consulting
- In-depth understanding of data governance and regulatory compliance
- Skilled in ETL processes, APIs, and real-time integration
