Job description
We are looking for a Data Loss Prevention SME for a 12-month contract with a major energy and utilities provider.
After several acquisitions and a significant build-out of their wider security program, they are entering a project to select a new data loss prevention tool. You will oversee the vendor selection process, before implementing the new tool and being responsible for configuring the tool and associated technology.
Alongside this, a key part of the role will involve setting key data management metrics across the group, including data identification, tagging and the underlying architecture.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of data loss prevention, ideally with a good network within the vendor space
- Proven background taking an organization through a vendor selection process
- Ability to implement, configure and troubleshoot DLP technologies
- Base understanding of the data architecture and management that underpins a DLP program
