Business Analyst - Retail/ PLM
Hybrid 2 days onsite per week (London-based)
6 Months (room for extension)

As a Business Analyst (Retail/ PLM), you will work with a prominent retail customer to implement a roadmap of solutions leveraging PLM and bespoke solutions in product design, development, sourcing, and sustainability. You will have the opportunity to access cutting-edge technology and make a substantial impact in the retail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of existing processes and systems as a foundation for future solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to shape solutions that achieve strategic goals.
- Gather business requirements through interviews, workshops, documentation reviews, and business process evaluations.
- Challenge business units on their assumptions to deliver solutions for their current and future needs.
- Synthesize information from multiple sources to identify true business requirements and resolve conflicts.
- Create comprehensive Requirements Documents using templates, diagrams, process flows, and scenarios.
- Validate solutions to ensure they meet defined requirements, providing feedback on any gaps.
- Collaborate across different work streams to ensure alignment and effective end-to-end processes.
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Functional knowledge of FlexPLM or Retail PLM solutions.
- Experience with Retail Product Development and Product Lifecycle Management processes.
- Familiarity with sustainability processes in product development, such as Digital Passport and Higgs Index, is advantageous.
- Experience in agile environments and methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret customer needs and translate them into application requirements.
- Ability to work alongside business SMEs, IT stakeholders, and vendors.
- Client-facing with excellent communication skills.
