Business Analyst – Digital Transformation Project
Location: Near-site (within 2 hours of Brussels) - on site 5 days per month

This project aims to enhance the availability and quality of information, personalized assistance, and online procedures for businesses and citizens in the EU's Single Market. The focus will be on supporting the development of a search facility, managing business and stakeholder feedback, and ensuring compliance with technical and functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst, you will be expected to perform the following tasks:
- Analyze business requirements and feedback from various stakeholders, including Commission staff and national coordinators in EU member states.
- Manage feedback, develop project requirement documents, and translate stakeholder needs into clear instructions for development teams.
- Support the development and maintenance of the clients portal, ensuring it complies with EU regulations and technical standards.
- Document functional requirements, business cases, and business processes.
- Assist in risk analysis and provide support to users, including answering queries about existing IT systems.
- Draft user documentation and manuals, ensuring clear communication of technical details.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework) or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in analyzing complex documents and drafting business requirements for IT systems.
- Solid knowledge of information systems, business processes, and analysis/modeling tools (e.g., use case diagrams, state diagrams).
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, RUP) and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong capacity to prepare and write detailed business analyses and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English (C1 level) is preferred, with experience participating in multilingual meetings.
