We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a critical programme in Financial Accounting. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, documented, and translated into effective Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the conduit between Business and Technology teams.

  • Support business discovery on the GL programme, clarifying and guiding requirements solicitation.

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand future-state business processes and ensure comprehensive user story coverage.

  • Participate in business and technical refinement sessions.

  • Help structure user stories logically for Salesforce delivery, ensuring appropriate size and clarity.

  • Ensure artefacts are in place to enable solution design and accurate estimation.

  • Champion configuration over code wherever possible.

  • Conduct functional reviews of developed stories to confirm they meet business needs before QA.

  • Drive client acceptance testing, identifying required changes and communicating them to the development team.

  • Act as the primary contact for QA for assigned stories, triaging and prioritizing bugs for Product Owner review.

  • Support or deliver demos to core teams and wider stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in Banking or Financial Services with Financial Accounting expertise.

  • Proven experience designing declarative solutions for Financial Accounting programmes.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with senior stakeholders and explaining complex issues clearly.

  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile programme in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, working directly with business and technology teams to deliver impactful solutions.
