Job description

On behalf of our client, a leading digital consultancy, we are seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer specializing in data transformation for 6 Month contract. This role is integral to the success of their AI/ML projects, where you will be responsible for ensuring that diverse datasets are accurately prepared and optimized for machine learning models. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team to deliver innovative solutions for their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data transformation pipelines tailored to various AI/ML initiatives within the consultancy.
  • Implement advanced feature engineering techniques to enhance the performance and accuracy of machine learning models.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists and ML engineers to optimize and streamline data processing workflows.
  • Ensure the highest standards of data quality and integrity throughout the transformation process.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data transformation processes, ensuring consistency and reproducibility across projects.
  • Stay current with the latest tools, techniques, and best practices in data transformation to continually deliver cutting-edge solutions for clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a focus on data transformation.
  • Proficiency in Python, including experience with data processing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their data services.
  • Experience with data versioning tools and machine learning pipelines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib and Seaborn.
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools.
  • A strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
