Technical Writer - Service Management & Information Systems
Responsibilities
- Master Complex Topics: Gain a thorough understanding of applications and services, transforming intricate technical information into clear, polished, and engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Craft High-Quality Documentation: Produce exceptional documentation for Service Management and Information Systems, ensuring clarity and user-friendliness.
- Develop User-Friendly Materials: Create easy-to-understand user manuals and online help content for web documentation.
- Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with internal teams like Product Managers, Software Developers, and Service Delivery Managers, actively participating in releases and sprint reviews.
- Quality Advocate: Contribute to the Quality Management Process, ensuring adherence to high standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Information Technology, or a relevant field (Master's degree a plus).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer in IT Support Services.
- Technical Expertise: Possess at least 3 years of experience using IT documentation tools like ServiceNow, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Language Skills: Fluency in spoken and written English and French is mandatory
- Technical Acumen: Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT terminology and concepts, enabling seamless comprehension of complex technical information.
