As a SOC Analyst, you will monitor security threats and vulnerabilities in the IT environment, respond to security incidents, and support the IT security team. You will be required to have a good understanding of security frameworks and be able to identify and respond to security threats quickly and accurately.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong problem-solving skills and be able to think on your feet. You will need to have a good understanding of the security environment and be able to create and maintain security plans. You must also have excellent communication skills and effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
You will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate of $50 for your efforts, and you will be given the chance to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop new skills and knowledge in security.
You will need at least 5 years’ experience in the IT security industry, and you should be familiar with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS. You should also be knowledgeable about security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and anti-virus solutions.
