Job description
My client, a renowned SaaS business that's exclusively focused within the Shopify Plus community, has reached out with the hopes that I can connect them with someone who'd be able to work in a client-facing capacity, gathering requirements and flipping business needs into technical requirements, and acting as a bridge between my client's Project Managers and Shopify Plus Engineers.
This is a full-time position, based within the US, where my client is open to offering full remote flexibility (again, within the US). Candidates who don't have exposure to Shopify Plus will NOT be considered.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture initiatives from inception to completion
- Gather business requirements and translate in to technical requirements
- Act as a Shopify Plus subject matter expert for business users
- Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency
- Produce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years' of Shopify Plus experience
- Background as a hands-on Shopify Plus engineer (preferred, not required)
- Strong understanding of Shopify APIs, Shopify's Script Editor, and Checkout Extensibility
- Advanced knowledge of leading architecture solutions within the Shopify Plus community
- Robust exposure to creating solutions to complex challenges within Shopify Plus
- Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Expert-level exposure to Shopify's Theme Builder
