About the role:

Our Summit Level Salesforce Consulting Partner is looking for a talented Salesforce Technical Architect to join their team. In this role, you will assess customer architecture; design secure, high-performance technical solutions ETE on the Salesforce platform across all domains, communicate those technical solutions effectively to a variety of clients stakeholders and ensure a robust delivery framework that ensures quality and success.

If you have true technical depth and breadth across the Salesforce platform, operate best when wearing multiple hats architecting technical, scalable, high-quality business solutions to be built on the Salesforce platform and love articulating the value of recommended solutions and approach to customers - then this is the role for you.

About you:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or other technical degree or equivalent work experience
  • An extensive portfolio of software development experience with a clear record of success
  • 7+ years of experience leading external, client facing technical consulting services for complex system implementations; minimum 3+ years hands-on technical experience with multiple Salesforce clouds
  • Must have experience in developing System Architecture Documents
  • Significant experience with object oriented development
  • Salesforce certifications and FSC specific experience
  • Robust experience developing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Visualforce Pages, SOQL, and Lightning Components
  • Deep experience developing APIs, integrations, and microservices
  • Sound assessment skills of the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
  • Superior understanding of when to use a declarative solution versus a code solution on the Salesforce
  • platform
  • Demonstrated experience architecting services integrations with data extraction, transformation, and load solutions

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for designing and implementing the most technically complex components of a solution
  • Responsible for functionality, performance, resilience, reuse, comprehensibility, scalability, security,
  • technology constraints and tradeoffs of the solution being built
  • Provide technical leadership for Solution Architects, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers and client stakeholders
  • Meet with clients to capture technical requirements
  • Identify and mitigate risks across the entire technical architecture
  • Deliver detailed architectural blueprints to client stakeholders
  • Write code examples, build proofs of concepts and prototypes to serve as a blueprint for developers alongside code reviews
  • Manage any change that may have negative effects on speed, performance, security and ability to handle a particular workload
