A leading trading firm is actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a keen focus on Performance Optimization, specifically in C++ and GPU environments. - Investigate and improve the performance of AI and high-performance compute workloads.
- Design and implement solutions to optimize workload performance across infrastructure, tools, and applications.
- Continuously monitor and identify areas for long-term performance improvements.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and platform engineers to prioritize workloads and align on enhancement plans.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a team dedicated to performance improvement initiatives.
- Expertise in C++ programming, including low-level aspects.
- Over 10 years of experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI performance optimization.
- Proven track record in optimizing complex workloads across various software stacks.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, MXNet, etc.) and accelerated programming stacks (CUDA, MPI, AVX, or similar).
- Strong quantitative and data-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to diverse teams.
- Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects from start to finish.
- Experience in team leadership, mentoring, and strategic team development.
Compensation: The role offers an annual base salary ranging from $200,000 to $300,000, subject to variation based on job-related skills and experience. Additional incentives include a potential sign-on bonus, discretionary performance bonuses, and comprehensive company-paid medical benefits.
