Job description
In this role, you will build, manage, and maintain the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Data Pipeline. The pipeline is responsible for collecting, processing, and enhancing security-related data used to monitor and protect our customers’ environments.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the existing set of technologies and assist in the conception, architecture, design, and quality of data processing tools and algorithms
- Lead designing, implementing and improving core pieces of our data pipeline – specifically around ETL processing
- Develop improvements for current technologies and configurations and design for future enhancements
Your experience:
- Strong experience with Python as well as Rust (the legacy world is in Rust but that might change soon)
- Strong experience with Linux
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, RDS, S3, Lambdas
- Familiarity with message queues, stream processing, highly scalable ‘big data’ data sets (Kafka, Redis, Rabbitmq, etc)
The salary for this role is up to $150,000 per annum based on your skills and experience!
