We are on the lookout for a seasoned Pre-Sales Engineer adept at strategizing with sales teams, showcasing powerful demonstrations, and guiding opportunities through the sales cycle. This role demands a blend of creative thinking, efficient time management, and robust organizational planning. Direct involvement with the sales organization and solutions team is pivotal, demanding both leadership flair and relentless problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities in Pre-Sales Engineering:

  • Liaise with the Director of Presales to ensure the technical vetting of every prospect and client use case aligning with our Solutions organization.
  • Construct and oversee domain-specific demonstrations that captivate both new and existing clients.
  • Achieve technical proficiency within the initial 30 days, mastering the ideal customer profile and expectations for a properly prepared opportunity.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Solutions Engineering to bolster operational enhancements and revenue goal achievements.
  • Refine the engagement model, emphasizing primary SEs for account management and resource escalation.
  • Devise principles, practices, presentation methods, and value assessments for potential clients and prospects.
  • Engage with clients to define success metrics, best practices, and enterprise business solutions in knowledge management and intelligent processing.
  • Formulate sales strategies, client prioritization, and process documentation.
  • Create solution outlines, ROI studies, and case studies, mapping out the present and future client states.
  • Work cohesively with various departments including engineering, data science, marketing, sales, and more to deliver exceptional solutions.


  • At least 5-7 years of pre-sales experience, skilled in demonstrations and the technical qualification process.
  • Minimum 5-7 years in enterprise software settings, adept at managing relationships and technical barriers.
  • Comfort in a startup setting with a flair for establishing processes.
  • Proven success in documenting and refining requirements to align with the company's best interests.
  • Proficient in crafting detailed work product requirements and functional specifications.
  • Ability to transform strategy into actionable plans.
  • Self-driven with an entrepreneurial spirit, thriving in dynamic settings.
  • Strong business insight with exceptional analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Well-versed in technology, software architecture, and SaaS delivery models.
  • Excellent team player capable of coordinating cross-functional efforts.
