Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager on behalf of their esteemed client in the electrical utilities sector. This pivotal role focuses on managing Information Technology (Operational Technology) IT/OT projects within the client's Cyber Security Transformation Group. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in handling multiple projects simultaneously, showcasing exemplary project management and business analysis skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management Mastery: The Project Manager will lead IT/OT projects from start to finish, overseeing initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to meeting all project milestones and objectives.

  • Cyber Security Initiatives: The individual will be responsible for managing several projects within the cyber security transformation scope, playing a crucial role in advancing the client's cyber security capabilities.

  • Business Analysis & Engagement: Acting as a Business Analyst, the Project Manager will work closely with various business groups for requirements gathering, ensuring project specifications are in alignment with the business's strategic direction.

  • Timely & Budget-Conscious Project Delivery: Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the highest quality standards is a core expectation. The role involves employing effective project management methodologies to track progress and address discrepancies.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: The role requires building and maintaining robust relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring transparent and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle and incorporating their feedback effectively.

  • Quality Assurance: Uphold stringent quality control standards across all project facets. Implement quality assurance processes to ensure all deliverables meet or surpass set expectations.

  • Additional Duties: The Project Manager will also be tasked with other related duties as assigned, displaying versatility and a commitment to supporting the broader organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in IT/OT project management, preferably within the electrical utilities sector or similar industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of cyber security principles and best practices.
  • Outstanding organizational, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
