IT Systems Manager - Infrastructure
3/4 days required in the onsite/ per week 

An IT Systems Manager is required by a highly successful and rapidly growing entrepreneurial global business, based in Durham, where you will be responsible for overseeing the management and development of this business's core IT infrastructure. This role involves ensuring uninterrupted day-to-day operations while strategizing and implementing upgrades to enhance business processes and reduce costs.

As the IT Systems Manager you will manage the systems function to secure the best value solutions aligned with organizational needs and budgets. You will oversee the installation and maintenance of computer and network infrastructure and develop comprehensive documentation for IT architecture and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will also be responsible for monitoring daily operations, including servers, backups, and network health and developing business cases for new technology projects.

Along with previous experience in IT Systems Management and knowledge and experience in delivering technical support services, the IT Systems Manager will also have the following:

- Familiarity with IP LAN and WAN networks, fundamental networking concepts, and managed Wi-Fi implementations.
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft tech stacks including Workspaces and Office 365.
- Understanding of Windows core functionality such as DNS, DHCP, and Printing.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and targets.
