Java Consultants, Donegal Hybrid
I am currently hiring several Java Consultants on a contract basis initially, to work as part of a large new team who will be responsible for providing technical leadership to the development team, ensuring best practices are followed and setting the technical direction.
As part of a team you will design and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements, conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improvements, whilst designing, developing and testing applications.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry standards.
- Work with QA team to ensure that all applications are thoroughly tested.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
What you will need:
- Experience designing, developing and testing Fineos applications
- Strong knowledge of Fineos Architecture and data model
- Proficient in Fineos programming languages such as FPL, FPK
- Experience with Fineos integrations web services and APIs
- Experience in working with Integrated Disability & Absence Management
- Excellent technical leadership skills with experience in leading and mentoring teams a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
This is a 6-month contract with the view to permanency.
