Delivery Lead – (Portfolio Management)
Location – Hounslow (Hybrid Working)
Rate - £600 / £700 per day – Inside IR35
Role Overview
Responsible for leading supply chain partners in delivering against business strategies, outcomes and benefits, within allocated annual budget, within agreed deadlines and quality standards.
Principal Accountabilities
Leadership and Co-ordination of Suppliers
Ensure IT capability required to enable to achieve business priorities, is successfully delivered by our supply chain partners
Review and agree the project delivery plan to support delivery of all aspects required to realise the defined business outcome, including all client activities such as business change
Ensure smooth and efficient transition after completion into business as usual support
Create and maintain a safe working environment and care for the wellbeing of others
Project Sponsor and Stakeholder engagement
Working with key partners to understand and define the business needs and deliver benefits and outcomes to the business.
Lead scope on the project and ensure scope changes follow the defined approval process.
Investment governance, portfolio planning and orchestration of delivery
Support the creation of the business case ensuring business benefits and critical success factors are clearly identified
Assist the business in creation of strategy and determine portfolio of projects to deliver the strategy
Experience
Essential Requirements;
Previous experience of leading the delivery of a portfolio of multiple projects of multi-million-pound value using agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
Validated experience of delivering projects in highly complex and fast pace environment
Validated experience of working in an outsourced model either as a client or supplier
Accountability for all aspects of project delivery including financial management and commercial negotiation
Desirable;
Experience in project management processes i.e., risk management, change control, quality management, test management, etc.
Experience of successful engagement with senior and challenging internal and external partners
Experience of working either in aviation, logistics and/or regulatory environment
Experience of big data, cloud, and automation projects
Experience or exposure of working in matrix environment.
