Job description

We are hiring a Cyber Engineering Manager who is responsible for leading and managing a team of cybersecurity engineers to support both the Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining and enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture by ensuring the proper application and maintenance of security controls across projects and technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the quality and delivery of cybersecurity engineering services to the enterprise.

  • Oversee the deployment of cybersecurity tools, technology, and systems across IT & OT environments.

  • Lead the engineering team in supporting business projects across the enterprise.

  • Set the vision and roadmap for the ongoing development and structure of the cybersecurity engineering team.

  • Manage Team Members, including conducting performance reviews, developing Individual Development Plans, and monitoring goal performance.

  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards by all team members.

  • Foster talent development in a competitive, safe, diverse, inclusive, and supportive working environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Minimum Experience: 10+ years (3+ years in management)

  • Other Requirements:

    • Proven Experience Leading People

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field

    • 10+ years of experience in Technology risk and compliance roles

    • Proficiency in leveraging a wide range of technology tools and solutions

    • Strong internal/external stakeholder management skills

    • Ability to multitask in agile, changing environments

    • Excellent understanding of IT operations and operational processes

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong teamwork skills and an engaging personality

    • Ability to interface effectively with a diverse range of roles at all levels

People Responsibility:

  • Manages a Team (direct reports) and is directly responsible for results.

  • Number of direct and indirect reports: 1-10
