AZ - Windows 10 Consultant
Contract Type: 3 Month Contract
Location: Macclesfield
Salary - £450 per day
My Client is urgently looking for an experienced Windows 10/ Windows Consultant to help with the project to modernize their End-user devices.
Work will involve rolling out new Windows 10 devices or upgrading existing hardware to Windows 10 where possible.
We're helping a large client modernize their End-user devices across multiple geographies,
the devices are generally Windows 7 or early build Windows 10 PCs, many of which are in a custom extended support status which expires in 2023.
• Responsibilities will include:
o Pre-deployment, deployment and post-deployment activities. E.g. working with vendors to determine new software versions are required, or whether connected devices need upgrading instead.
o Deploying client-specific Operating System builds to new devices (swapping out old) or upgrading existing hardware with new builds where possible.
o Attention to detail and a methodical, process-oriented mindset required as rigorous testing must be carried out and documented.
• Experience of working in environments with specialised equipment desirable but not mandatory.
