My client a global leader in consulting, IT services and business solutions is looking to expand their DevOps practice and hire a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join their SC Cleared workforce working on some exciting Government projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing a fundamental design and implementation function, creating, managing, and overseeing the design and implementation of Infrastructure services in collaboration with Architecture and Engineering principles.
  • Provide technical knowledge/leadership and guidance where required
  • Create a DevOps culture, and implement automation best practices.
  • Working closely with end clients prioritising the client's values and working to the Government Digital Standards.
  • You will transform technical requirements into an effective DevOps toolchain enabling product delivery and implementing deployment strategies.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the deployment, configuration, and management of multiple workspaces platforms.
Key Skills:
  • Hands-on AWS cloud hosting experience, including EC2, auto-scaling groups and rules, security groups, IAM roles and policies, load balancing, target groups, CloudWatch and CloudTrail
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines
  • Candidates ideally with have previous experience working in a government or public sector organsiation within DevOps
  • Experienced in AWS utilising Ansible Automation Platform
  • Extensive experience working with Windows Server and PowerShell
  • Experience with enterprise system monitoring tools like Datadog, Dynatrace or Splunk
  • An understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 networking, with the ability to diagnose, define and implement DNS and routing changes effectively in a zero-trust architecture
  • Demonstrable experience working with immutable infrastructure, version control, infrastructure as code and containerization tools such as Git, Terraform, Ansible and Docker
