Senior Agile Expert – Banking Sector
Location: Luxembourg – Onsite
Engagement: Full-time allocation, long-term ongoing project
Rate: €710/day

Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Agile Expert to lead an agile 
transformation within the banking secto. This role requires deep expertise in consulting 
on team design, scaling agile methodologies, and delivering cross-team transformation 
initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as Agile Coach for multiple teams, embedding and optimizing agile 
practices across the organization.
• Lead large-scale agile transformations, ensuring alignment across teams and 
functions.
• Provide strategic consulting (~50% of the role) on optimizing delivery models, 
improving operational efficiency, and fostering innovation.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to design and implement team structures that 
maximize agility at scale.
Requirements
• Proven track record in agile transformation at scale within large organizations, 
preferably in the financial sector.
• Strong experience consulting on team design and cross-team delivery models.
• SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills with senior 
leadership.

Languages
• English – Professional proficiency (mandatory)

• Onsite: 100% in Luxembourg (no remote option)

• Enterprise Agile Coaching – guiding leadership and multiple teams through 
transformation
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) – preferably with SPC certification
• Team Design & Organization Structure Consulting – structuring squads, tribes, 
and cross-functional units
• Agile at Scale Implementation – applying frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or 
Disciplined Agile in complex environments
• Agile Maturity Assessment – measuring and improving agile adoption levels

Leadership & Facilitation
• Stakeholder Management – engaging with C-level, senior managers, and team 
leads
• Facilitation Skills – leading workshops, PI planning, retrospectives, and 
transformation roadmaps
• Change Management – handling cultural shifts, resistance, and adoption 
challenges
• Mentoring & Coaching – developing agile mindsets in leaders, product owners, 
and delivery teams

Delivery & Process Skills
• Lean Principles – value stream mapping, waste elimination
• Agile Metrics & Reporting – throughput, lead time, predictability
• Continuous Improvement – embedding feedback loops in delivery processes
• Cross-Team Collaboration – coordinating dependencies and scaling delivery

Banking / Financial Sector Knowledge
• Understanding of Banking Operations – retail, corporate, investment, or central 
bank processes
• Regulatory Awareness – PSD2, MiFID II, Basel III, ECB directives, etc.
• Experience in Large, Regulated Environments – working under strict 
compliance frameworks
